Insanity and the dark crevices of the human psyche are fully represented in the game. Lovecraft, you'll see that the game has been heavily inspired by his work. You navigate your way through the dark corridors and avoid all the nightmarish horrors and ghouls, all while helping Daniel figure himself out through his amnesia. It's a simple setup, but the developers and game makers have successfully made it terrifying. You play as Daniel, plunged into a gothic, gloomy, and old castle.

Like all the other Amnesia games, you'll be navigating the dark world in first-person.
